High-speed laser cladding technology belongs to one of laser metal surface additive technologies. It is to form a flat and dense metal coating on metal surfaces by using high power laser to melt the metal powder or wire and base material .This coating usually has the properties of high corrosion resistance, high hardness and wear resistance.
The technology has a wide range of advantages ,including high processing efficiency, metallurgy combination, flat coating, small heat input, less processing and low cost. This technology is currently used for surface repair processing of high value-added equipment components, and mainly used to replace traditional metal surface treatment technologies such as spraying, electroplating, surfacing welding,etc.
